NO MORE REGISTRATION OF COLLEGES AND HIGH SCHOOLS
Starting October 2021 the ministry of Education and Sports will embark on the process of recalling off all the Registration Certificates of Private Secondary schools in the Country and issue them with the new ones with enhanced features. The first categories to be handled are those schools in Kampala and the districts of the wider central region.

Kira Municipal Mayor His Worship Julius Mutebi Nsubuga has appointed and presented his Executive to The Council and all the names he presented have were approved to start working. In a unexpected way Mutebi who is a Member of The National Unit Platform appointed members from other political parties for the purposes of team work. Speaking about his Executive Mutebi said that when coming into power they came on different tickets but that chapter ended and its now about serving for the common goal.

COUNCILORS URGED TO PLAY VALUE ADDITIONAL POLITICS
Kira Municipal Council Councilors have been urged to avoid misuse of power through playing populist politics tarnishing the Council in which they are key players but focus on value addition through lobbing and advocating for their institutions. This has been by Mr. Benon Yiga (Kira Municipal Town Clerk) in an induction training of the new council members taking place at Matter Wood Hotel in Kyaliwajjala- Namugongo Division.

As required by section 26 (f) of the Local Government Act Cap243, the Chairperson Bweyogerere Division Mr. Isaac Ssenkubuge has today presented to the Council the State of Affair report reviewing the Sector performance in the nine months that have so far moved from the financial year 2020/2021 vis-a vis the pending projects and activities to be executed before the year ends by 31st June.
