Propject aAffected Persons under the GKMA-UDP Batch 1B.

Batch 1B is looking at roads in Namugongo Division- Kireka Kamuli Naalya Rd (2.3KM), and Bweyogerere Division - Kikonko Namanve (1.2KM) and Bweyogerere Buto road linking to Namugongo shrines through Nsawo (6.6KM) unlike Batch 1A which was in Kira Division. the policy in all the projects is the same that non will be compensated for land only that those whose houses are going to be affected measures shall be made to ensure restoration.

Following National Procumbent Rules and guidelines Kira Municipal Council awarded a number of contacts to different successful bidders to provide different services and items and the following is the annual report for the financial year 2024/2025.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Kira MC joined other Urban Municipalities in setting up an Urban Forum as per the guidance from the Ministry of Lands, Housing and Urban Development. The objective was to ensure that we bring together stakeholders in the urban sector together to discuss issues pertaining sustainable urban development at the National Level.
