As a requirement for the World Bank funded projects the following are the members of of the Grievance Redress Committe for the different ongoing road construction projects funded under the Greater Kamapala Metropolitan Area - Urban Development program (GKMA-UDP)

The Draft Integrated Urban Development Master Plan for Greater Kampala Metropolitan Area is on display for Public Viewing and Comencment from 17th July 2024 to 17th September 2024 and its here for public comment.

Kira Municipal Council received funding from the Central Government for different projects and service provision and as per the PPDA guidlines the due process was followed and a number of Service providers/contractors were contracted to serve the purposes as reflected in the table bellow:

Kira Municipal Council like any other Municipal authority of Local Government is mandated to collect revenue and is granted under Article 191 of the Constitution and enabled by Section 80 of the Local Government Act (Cap 243) under the Fifth Schedule.
