Presentation of the state of municipal affair 2023/24

As mandated by section 26 (f) of the Local Government Act CAP 243 the Mayor Kira Municipal Council His Worship Julius Mutebi Nsubuga has presented to the Council the state of the Municipal affairs for the financial year 2023-24 reviewing the sector performance during the period of July 2023 to February 2024 Vis-a vis the planned activities. Read by Her Worship the Deputy Mayor Rashidah Nanyonga Musoke o behalf of the Mayor, the report also outlined the achievements attained in the financial period, ongoing projects, for the remaining period of the financial year, constraints and strategies / recommendations to address them.

In the same session the Mayor is expected to lay the budget for the financial year 2024/25 and thereafter election of the Committee Chairpersons.
